We call on Microsoft to add an option in Microsoft Edge to disable rounded corners around the website being viewed.
The current “new look and feel” uses rounded corners in a way that many users do not want. It changes the shape of the page inside the browser, even when people prefer a more standard layout. For some of us, this is not just a matter of taste. The rounded corners can also create problems with how some websites appear and function, which makes browsing less comfortable and less practical.
When a browser changes the look of pages, people should have a real choice to turn that feature off. Microsoft removed the option to disable rounded corners, and that leaves users without control over something that affects everyday use. A browser should work for the people using it, not force one design style on everyone.
We are asking Microsoft to restore user choice by adding a clear setting to disable rounded corners in Microsoft Edge. This would improve usability, reduce website display issues, and respect the preferences of people who want a cleaner and more traditional browsing experience.

Microsoft shouldn't force people to use the visual style that the company likes. There's absolutely no reason to remove the option to disable the rounded corners.
