We have several senior citizens on our block, and a couple of neighbors have utilized the Fire/Amulance service, I will let them know that services will/may be reduced. Terrible idea !!

As a paramedic I spent a a great amount of time on clinicals with these crews. You have some of the best Parmedic's and EMT's in all the Metroplex, however the call volume is one of the busiest and most overwhelming in the area. I'm worried if these men and women don't receive the resources they need to do their job to the best of their ability and a living wage I am afraid they will just leave and the city will be at a loss which will make call volume and response times even worse for the city.

I live in Fort Worth and believe our fire department should be staffed and funded to reflect the growth we are experiencing. New developments, apartments, and businesses everywhere should be reason to keep 4 man staffing, and increase funding for all types of emergencies. Staffing 4 on trucks and engines makes a world of difference on the fireground.

Retired from FWFD, was hired when we rode with 3 firefighters on each truck. When we went to 4 firefighters on each truck it made such a difference in working on a scene, patient care and fighting fires. Stay Strong!

Our fire fighters and EMS are woefully underfunded and lacking of good medical and dental insurance coverage.
THEY NEED HELP.
They put their lives on the line every day.
