It is time to adopt renewable energies and stop lining the pockets of oil executives.

Our land owner rights were taken away from us by County Commissioners

Solar and wind are safe and economically efficient, and match the ever-increasing need for reducing carbon emissions. Supporting a bill allowing individual property owners to use their land as they wish when it not only doesn't harm others, but actively improves the communal well-being is also fundamental to their rights.

We must reduce our use of fossil fuels ASAP! Our county officials don't seem to understand the importance and urgency of that.

Moving rapidly toward clean energy is a win on so many levels! Avoiding the toxic waste of coal ash, cleaning up the environment, returning to healthy air quality, and meeting Indiana's energy needs reliably.

Wind & solar energy are safe, less expensive for consumers than fossil fuels, and reduce carbon emissions!

Why would anyone block renewable energy -- unless they profit from fossil fuel and find it more important than the environment.

It’s more important now than ever to protect our environment.

I cannot fathom why legislators would want to rely on finite resources when there is ample clean, renewable resources like solar and wind power. We are stewards for this planet. Let us leave a better world for future generations.

It breaks on my heart to see projects like data centers that many people in the community do not even want, getting through so fast compared to renewable energy projects that so many people do want in our communities.

I clearly care about getting more energy projects up and running as soon as possible since we are facing an imminent critical shortage of electricity. I especially want to see clean energy projects onboarded since they will help us address climate change and clean air and water concerns.

St. Joseph County enacted insurmountable restricts on future solar farm projects which prevent farmers and land owners from leasing their land. Given that farmers are struggling financially, this ordinance is unduly prevents them from making ends meet, and hurts our state’s transition to renewable energy sources.

I'm 78....our son is 43 and he has studied clean energy closely. He first purchased an EV car, then got a hybrid water heater and then solar panels for his home. He's had these for 5 years and would not go back. I have supported wind energy since it was first installed in Kansas, later OK, and TX. We must move from fossil fuels. Our country is experiencing a water shortage and contamination we must do better. New solar technologies support land management by farmers & support pollinators.

Hi. Solar and wind are the safest alternatives for power generation, literally harnessing what is already there without creating added carbon, depleting underground structures, or contaminating water. They can allow for land regeneration and farming. Most of all, they give family farmers an income stream that allows them to maintain control over their land.

Clean power is critical to reducing air pollution and climate impacts, and it brings local prosperity. I'm tired of it being blocked by bad policy.
