Superintendent of Cheney School District
She is not doing her job. She is setting people up for failure by giving them the wrong schedules, and when they fill out the form to fix it, she does it without talking to them and gives them the wrong classes. She doesn't take the time to listen to the students, and she doesn't allow students to talk. As a counsellor, it is her job to do her absolute best to help students succeed and give them the best chance to succeed. If not, fire her; at least retrain her to do her job.

It’s important to me because she has made my highschool experience so much more difficult because of her unwillingness to help and work for the students and when students push she’s rude to them when all they want is to succeed
It took six months and two of my teachers to email her to get to meet with me, she was unprofessional and disrespectful. she let students sit in her office when having a private meeting and she blatantly picks favorites and only helps those she's personal close with, she does nothing to help the kids that need it the most.
Been in CHS since the first day of high school, and this has genuinely been an ongoing problem. When I attempted to get my classes fixed the principal told me to go to my class and fill out a form that was "unavailable". I quite literally am missing my actual credits and she placed me under 2 math classes of the same teacher? Declined and put my dad to voicemail? Office is incredibly rude to parents and students about it. This isn't just affecting our time, this is risking us graduating.
She messed up scheduling for all the seniors now no one will graduate on time that's not okay she should of known what she was doing and done it right now we have to pay the price of her mistakes and she refuses to fix her mistakes
Ignoring senior schedule change request for required credits to graduate
My child comes to me everyday saying how Ms. Starkey never listens to her. She has been disrespectful towards my student and from I can tell by other users she has clear favoritism in others. This is completely unacceptable behavior and disrespectful towards parents and students.

I've been at this school since I was a freshman and have had issues with mental and physical health. When going into the councling office I was most often ignored and left to sit and suffer in silence. This year she has been extremely unprofessional and quite frankly rude me to so many of my friends bringing some to tears. She refuses to go out of her way to help students even when it risks keeping them from graduating. She clearly picks and prioritizes her favorite students and helps them more.
