The current operation schedule for the 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry primarily accommodates North American time zones. Main events frequently start between 00:30AM and 1:00AM GMT/CET. This makes it incredibly difficult for European members to participate due to work, school, and sleep schedules, despite making up a good portion of the active roster.

We kindly ask the leadership to shift the weekend operation schedule 2 to 3 hours earlier (e.g., to 5:00 PM EST). This keeps events in a prime weekend slot for Americans, while moving them to a manageable evening time for Europeans (11:00 PM CET)

If moving the main operation times is not feasible for North American leadership, we ask for authorization to establish an official, semi-autonomous European Detachment within the battalion.

This detachment would:

• Run on EU Time: Hold events and operations during peak European evening hours.
• Be Led Locally: Be managed by European NCOs and officers who share our time zones, ensuring active leadership is always online when we play.
• Stay Integrated: Remain fully part of the 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry, operating under the main unit's chain of command, rules, etc.
