Fortnightly refuse collections are creating unacceptable hygiene risks for residents. We urgently need weekly collections restored. Two‑week gaps lead to increased vermin, foul odours, and unhealthy living conditions in homes, gardens, and on our streets. We call on the council to reinstate weekly refuse collection to protect public health and maintain a clean local environment

The food caddy’s are shockingly bad - we’ve stopped using them as the lids don’t fit inviting flies galore. Health hazard. Black bins stink after a week they need collecting weekly. If the council thinks this is an upgrade then they are sorely wrong.

The new waste collections in East Cambs are falling apart. Collectors have been seen taking the black bags out of the bins, and dumping them on the footpath for the lorries to collect. The food waste bins don't close correctly, so you get mould and flies in them... The whole thing is pathetic.

During this heatwave the uncollected rubbish is smelling up the neighbourhood and is so unhygienic. Our council tax payments should include weekly rubbish collection! This has potential to be a public health problem.

Collecting black bins/bags every two weeks is not an improvement; it is a degradation of service.
