I’m signing this petition because I’m deeply hurt and angry that an innocent, beloved animal was killed on his own property. HeeHaw was a bottle-raised baby donkey who knew only kindness and trust. He wasn’t a threat — he was simply being a donkey, approaching people the way he’d been taught his whole life.
No animal should lose its life like this, especially not in the place it felt safest. The officer involved needs to be held fully accountable. Losing a pension and facing criminal consequence

The incident is outrageous to say the very least. To go onto private property and not expect to be approached in one way or another is pure stupidity. Then to first taze the animal and follow up with use of a firearm to end the animals life under the badge of law. How can this be right?
