Why do so many police officers go straight for the gun? I can understand if the donkey had a handgun that he might have felt threatened. I hope the officer in this case can validate his reasoning for killing the donkey.

Because heehaw did nothing wrong. The cops showed up with no warrant or permission. Didn’t contact the homeowner who could have told them heehaw was in the field. Who was this missing person anyways? I think we'd all like to see how a mini-donkey made supposedly tough cops feel "threatened", especially since they were in his pasture with no permission or warning. We have way too many trigger-happy defectives with badges and guns who need to be held accountable for their degenerate behavior.
