It is crucial to release the body cam footage so that the public can be informed why this animal was slaughtered on private property, and so justice can be served. It is far beyond the scope of the police to execute animals when looking for a missing person. Abhorrent and extremely disappointing, yet not surprising to see. What’s next? What about a hamster, if it “scares” an officer? Absolutely ridiculous.
