We appreciate the hard work and new content brought by the recent Seven Deadly Sins update! However, based on the current math required to guarantee the new Mythical item through the pity system during a 7-day limited event, the grind is mathematically impossible for even the most dedicated players without non-stop 24/7 farming.
We respectfully request a minor adjustment to the event duration, minigame drop rates, or Sin cost per pull to make reaching pity achievable through active play.
The Math Behind the Request
- Hard Pity Cost: 90 pulls = 270 Sins needed.
- Minigame Time: ~10 minutes per high-difficulty run.
- Minigame Drop Rate: 18% chance per run (~1 Sin every 5.5 runs).
- Average Runs Needed: 1,500 runs = 250 total hours of playing time.
Because a 7-day event only contains 168 total hours, a player running the minigame non-stop without sleep, breaks, or queue delays could only physically complete 1,008 runs (~181 Sins / ~60 pulls max).
Under the current system, hitting guaranteed pity pure-grind within 7 days is impossible for solo or duo players.
Proposed Adjustments (Suggestions for Devs)
To keep the event challenging while making pity reachable for dedicated players, we suggest one or a combination of the following adjustments:
- Increase Minigame Sin Drop Rates: Raise the drop rate on higher difficulties (e.g., from 18% to 40%–50%) or guarantee 1 Sin per successful completion of the hardest difficulty.
- Reduce Sin Cost per Pull: Lower the cost from 3 Sins per pull to 1 or 2 Sins per pull for the duration of the event.
- Extend Event Duration: Give players 14 days instead of 7 days so the community has adequate time to engage with the content.
- Add Daily/Weekly Event Quests: Provide bonus Sins through daily event tasks or boss completions to bridge the pull gap.
