To the members of the Soviet Union!

I, along with the undersigned, call for a presidential election to determine the future direction of the Soviet Union.

The Soviet Union faces several issues that require immediate attention:

• Declining Population: Moscow's population and overall national activity have declined, weakening the Soviet Union's development.
• Presidential Inactivity: The current President's inactivity has left the country without sufficiently active leadership and oversight.
• Moscow's Development: Our capital requires full development and investment to restore its importance as the political, economic and administrative centre of the Union.
• Passive Foreign Policy: The Soviet Union's leadership has missed opportunities to expand its influence and strengthen its international position.
• The PLC Crisis: Following accusations of doxxing against the President, which we consider false, the PLC demanded compensation over a previous gold operation. Rather than firmly defending our position, the Soviet Union negotiated a settlement and surrendered approximately 20% of the gold.
• Lack of CPSU Approval: The gold payment was made without a vote or approval from the CPSU, raising serious concerns about internal accountability and the government's decision-making process.
• Diplomatic Weakness: The PLC subsequently claimed to have obtained the majority of the gold, despite the Soviet Union already making concessions. This raises concerns about our negotiating position and willingness to defend national interests.
• Lack of Initiative: The Soviet Union needs a more proactive approach to territorial expansion, diplomacy and internal development.

I believe these issues warrant a renewed leadership mandate and an opportunity for the members of the Soviet Union to determine its political direction.

Therefore, I petition the General Secretary and the government to organize a formal presidential election.
