I am signing this agreement because I love the toast, and I genuinely believe it is the best thing since Life Spread. I think breakfast should be extended until 10am because 9:30am is simply too early for such a life-changing piece of toast. Thank you for your consideration.

Students whose lessons start at 10:00 are currently unable to access breakfast beforehand, meaning they miss out on the opportunity to eat or drink before beginning their studies.
As a performing arts school, it is imperative that students are properly fuelled, as our work requires significant physical energy, concentration, memory, coordination and emotional engagement. Going without breakfast can affect energy levels, focus and cognitive performance, making it more difficult to learn.

UCEN Manchester should extend its free breakfast service until 10am to ensure that all students have an equal opportunity to start their day feeling energised, focused and ready to learn. Many students face financial difficulties, particularly with the rising cost of living, rent, transport and essential living expenses. For some, buying breakfast every morning simply is not affordable, meaning they may attend lessons hungry or skip meals altogether.

I think free breakfast is a great idea especially for students struggling with money but as someone who starts at 10am everyday and lives a half an hour walk away from uni getting in before half 9 is impossible

Good bit of energy for the start of the day, for those who might possibly be less advantaged financially

I usually get in around 9:30 when the free breakfast is finished so to have some extra time to get some free breakfast, even a free cup of tea would be a great help for me

Because not all students start early and would still like the chance to have a free breakfast.

Some people commute from far away (like myself) and sometimes trains can be later and mean it’s a rush to get breakfast! Like others have said, it’s your most important meal of the day!!!
