A FORMAL PETITION FOR AFRICA (NIGERIA) TO BE INCLUDED IN THE BTS ARIRANG WORLD TOUR

Dear HYBE Corporation, BigHit Music and the BTS World Tour Organising Team,

We, the Nigerian ARMY, are writing to express our sincere desire and collective request for Nigeria to be included in the BTS ARIRANG World Tour.

As countries across the world begin advocating for their cities and creating petitions to have BTS visit, we do not want Nigeria to be left out of the conversation. Nigerian ARMY exists, we are passionate, we are organised, and we are more than ready to welcome BTS to our country.

Nigeria has the audience, the facilities, the resources and, most importantly, the love.

Nigeria has several stadiums and large event venues that could potentially accommodate a BTS concert. We have also hosted major international music performances.

NIGERIA HAS A HISTORY OF WELCOMING GLOBAL MUSIC STARS

For anyone questioning whether Nigeria can host an international music event of this magnitude, our history speaks for itself.

Nigeria has welcomed some of the biggest names in global entertainment. Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Shakira, Snoop Dogg, Usher, Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, Ciara, Akon, 50 Cent, LL Cool J, John Legend, Nelly, Nas, Cardi B, J. Cole, Future, Rick Ross and many others have performed on Nigerian stages.

Our country has hosted international music festivals such as the THISDAY Music Festival, Africa Rising Festival and Star Mega Jam, attracting globally recognised performers.

Even in recent years, international stars such as Rick Ross (2022), Roddy Ricch (2023), Gunna (2024), John Legend (2025) and Busta Rhymes (2025) have performed in Nigeria.

This demonstrates that Nigeria is not unfamiliar with international entertainment. We have a history of attracting global performers, hosting major music events and providing audiences with opportunities to experience international music.

We are also witnessing continued interest in Nigeria as an entertainment destination. We therefore believe Nigeria deserves serious consideration as a potential destination for the BTS ARIRANG World Tour.

We are not asking HYBE to take an unreasonable risk. We are asking them to explore a market with an established history of international music events, a passionate fanbase and a genuine willingness to support BTS.

We can afford the concert tickets. What we cannot reasonably afford is the additional burden of travelling across continents just to see a group we love.

Nigerian ARMY members are willing and financially capable of purchasing tickets to see BTS perform in their own country. However, travelling abroad introduces additional expenses, including international flights, accommodation, visas and other logistics. If we could comfortably afford all these additional expenses, we would not be campaigning so passionately for Nigeria to be included in the tour.

We should not have to leave our continent to experience something that could be brought to us.

We also want to emphasise that Nigeria has an established and active BTS fan community. There are numerous Nigerian ARMY groups, fanbases, communities and organisers who have spent years building connections, coordinating activities and keeping the BTS community alive. These existing communities could serve as valuable points of contact and support during concert promotion, communication and fan coordination.

Additionally, we have Nigerians who speak Korean fluently and can help bridge language and cultural gaps. We are not starting from scratch. We already have a community that is prepared to support this experience.

Regarding logistics, we believe there are no insurmountable barriers preventing BTS from performing in Nigeria. We have the financial capacity to purchase tickets, suitable venues that can be assessed, event professionals, security personnel and the necessary local partnerships to explore a successful concert arrangement. We are also not aware of any blanket vaccination restriction that would automatically prevent the members or their touring team from visiting Nigeria.

We believe the Nigerian government and relevant authorities can be engaged to provide the necessary support, security and cooperation to welcome BTS and their team.

Nigeria is ready. Nigerian ARMY is ready. We only need the opportunity.

BTS has brought together people from different countries, languages, cultures and backgrounds. Their music has reached Nigerians, too. We have streamed their songs, supported their projects, participated in fan activities and celebrated their achievements from thousands of kilometres away.

We want to experience that connection in person. We want to sing along, wave our ARMY Bombs, see the seven members perform and create memories that Nigerian ARMY will cherish for a lifetime.

Please do not allow geographical location or assumptions about our country to determine whether we deserve to be considered.

We respectfully urge HYBE Corporation, BigHit Music and the BTS tour organizers to consider Nigeria as a destination for the ARIRANG World Tour.

BTS, please come to Nigeria. We have been waiting, we are ready, and we would love to welcome you home to the Nigerian ARMY!

With love and hope,

NIGERIAN ARMY 🇳🇬💜
