Valko is a character who was already announced and is an integral part of the story. It would cause major imbalance in the games story and structure if he is removed now.

Just because a very small but vocal group of people don’t like him (for stupid reasons) doesn’t mean that everyone else feels the same. I was going to play LADS for him, but hearing that he was gone is a complete and total bummer. I can’t imagine how longtime fans feel. #bringvalkoback

Trust between players and developers is the foundation of Love and Deepspace’s success. Cancelling Valko after a full announcement and teasers has created the feeling that the expectations of the global community are not being taken into account.
We ask not only to bring the character back, but also to introduce more transparent communication — for example, surveys on major updates or preliminary discussions of concepts. This will help avoid similar situations in the future.

Valko is an indispensable character in the game's main storyline and content; there is no reason for him to be removed. Furthermore, I absolutely will not tolerate seeking justice through bullying and spreading rumors. I agree that the pain of national sentiment should be remembered and mourned, but maliciously manipulating national sentiment is absolutely wrong. Allowing Valko to be removed would be a compromise with these unjust acts. Justice must be served, and bullying must be rejected.
