I don't play Love and Deepspace, but I saw Valko's announcement on social media, and many players and people outside the game really liked it. I would be very disappointed if it were permanently deleted.

Valko was intended to be part of the game practically from the start. Without him, Love and Deepspace is unfinished to me. I'm not interested in playing a game that will forever be unfinished because the developers decided to bow to a small portion of the fanbase's complaints and (quite frankly, racist) insults.
