Now is the right time to revive a server that already had a strong original idea and still had room to grow. The story never moved so far that a return would feel impossible. The lore was already in place, but there was still space for returning characters and new ones to shape what came next. That means the server could either continue from where it left off or restart with a stronger foundation while keeping what made it special.

What made Marvel 97 stand out was its concept. Instead of simply retelling X-Men ’97, it introduced The Lattice, a global crisis that could affect every side of the setting, from the X-Men and Brotherhood to the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. That kind of setup gives heroes, villains, mutants, and humans a real reason to get involved, and it opens the door to character-driven roleplay instead of a story that moves in only one direction.

A revival would also give the staff a chance to refine the rules, improve events, and welcome new members into a stronger community.

Most of all, the timing is ideal. With the franchise getting fresh attention, Marvel 97 has a real chance to succeed if it is brought back now. We hope the staff will consider reviving it, because many of us believe it still has the potential to become something special.
