We are asking Kat21 to bring back Guest Mode in the Mii Creator web app so people can use it without signing in with a Discord account or Google account.

Kat21 has created an amazing Mii Creator web app that many people enjoy using, but right now it requires sign-in before you can get started. For a lot of us, that is a barrier. Not everyone wants to connect a Discord account or Google account just to make and save a Mii. Some people care about privacy, some do not use those services, and some simply want a quick and easy way to try the app.

We understand the need to protect saved Miis from being lost if browser storage gets cleared. That is a real concern. But sign-in should not be the only answer. There are other ways to help people keep their Miis safe while still giving users a simple guest option.

There were plans for Guest Mode, where you would not need to sign in, and it got cancelled. We believe that was a mistake. Guest Mode would make the app more welcoming, more accessible, and easier for people to enjoy right away.

Please restore Guest Mode in the Mii Creator web app. Keep the features that protect saved work, but give people the choice to use the app without an account. That small change would make a big difference for many users.
If guest mode is a complete no, there should at least be a passkey-based login so that users can sign in with their password manager.
