We are asking for McDavid to be banned from fantasy hockey because he is too good at hockey, and it is not fair for any single person to have him.
Fantasy hockey is meant to be a fun, balanced competition where everyone has a real chance to build a strong team. But when one player stands out so far above the rest, he can tilt the whole game in a way that stops it from feeling fair. McDavid changes matchups, dominates scoring, and makes it hard for the rest of us to compete on equal terms. That is not the kind of challenge fantasy hockey should create.
We know greatness should be celebrated. McDavid’s skill is part of what makes hockey exciting. But fantasy sports should still leave room for variety, strategy, and a level playing field. When one player becomes the obvious answer every time, the game loses some of its balance and a lot of its fun.
For the good of fantasy hockey, we ask that McDavid be banned from fantasy hockey so the game can stay fair, competitive, and enjoyable for everyone. No single player should have that much power over the season.
