This should have been prevented easily. The laws for animal cruelty in Sri Lanka has way too many loop holes and the polititians are too greedy to change anything

There were more suspicious things happened behind treatments. I guess they wanted Kawanthissa die however. They used to overdose antibiotics & didn’t make proper arrangements to treat him from the beginning. Please help to bring these all relevant parties in front of justice. This should happen again to any animal on this country. Also, have to get action against the people who set the gun to fire this innocent.

The Wildlife Department and authorities must give an answer. Since they are so inactive and negligent, we need to stand up today to protect the elephants 🙏🐘

Justice for Kawantissa
A beautiful wild elephant lost his life, and we deserve to know the truth. I strongly urge the authorities to conduct an independent and transparent investigation into his death and the medical treatment he received. Those responsible for any negligence must be held accountable.
Our elephants cannot speak for themselves. It is our responsibility to protect them, respect their lives, and ensure this never happens again
Justice for Kawantissa. Let his death not be in vain
Protect to sri lankan elephants.
