As an ordinary Sri Lankan citizen who deeply loves our elephants and wildlife, I demand justice for Kawanthissa, one of Asia’s largest wild tuskers. I urge the authorities to conduct a fair investigation and hold everyone responsible for his death accountable under the law. Our wildlife deserves protection, and Kawanthissa deserves justice. Let his death not be in vain.
This is not just an ordinary death; it is a crime. Everyone responsible for this death must be arrested, and the law must be enforced. Is it even possible for a veterinarian to be unable to treat an elephant that has been shot? If so, then that person is not a veterinarian—or perhaps they intentionally caused its death.

It’s necessary to take action against them. It should never happen again. We need to save our elephants 🐘
They murdered Kawathissa, and we, as ordinary citizens who deeply love these innocent animals, demand justice! 💔🐘 We want justice for Kawathissa, Bathiya, and every innocent wild animal killed by cruel people. How many more precious lives must be lost before the authorities take serious action? Please, we beg you, protect our wildlife and ensure that those responsible are held accountable under the law. These innocent souls deserve justice too! 😭💔 JUSTICE FOR KAWATHISSA, BATHIYA, AND ALL OUR
