How many more innocent wild elephants must die before the authorities take serious action? 💔🐘
I urge the Ministry of Wildlife and all relevant authorities to investigate these cruel killings, hold those responsible accountable, and take immediate action to protect our elephants. Please strengthen wildlife protection laws and ensure they are properly enforced. Our wildlife is our national treasure, and these beautiful creatures deserve to live in safety.
Stop killing elephants!

Justice for Kavantissa! He was Sri Lanka's tallest tusker and a gentle giant who suffered for weeks from a gunshot wound before dying on Oct 16. We demand a proper post-mortem, a transparent investigation to find the shooter, maximum punishment under the law, and stronger protection for our remaining wild elephants. Don't let his death be in vain!

The government, the wildlife authorities, and the responsible officials must take full responsibility for destroying the pride and dignity of this country and failing to protect its precious wildlife. The authorities and officials who have neglected their duties and shown no accountability must be held responsible for this situation.
