Everyone responsible in the Ministry of Environment, the Wildlife Department, and wildlife veterinary services should be removed and replaced with people who truly care about wildlife and have real expertise. As a Sri Lankan, my heart breaks to see our precious tuskers lose their lives. Elephants are not just animals ,they are our national heritage, a vital part of our ecosystem, and a major attraction for tourism. No tusker should die because of human cruelty or negligence. We need stricter laws, proper protection, and accountability for those responsible. Once a life is lost, it can never be brought back. They cannot speak for themselves, so we must speak for them. Protect our tuskers before late.
