This was most beautiful and iconic tusker elephant died due to gun shots and government negligence. There are so many elephants facing same issue and animal lovers to take strict actions
Shocked, disappointed, and heartbroken by this failure to protect our precious wildlife. 😡

I stand for justice for Kawanthissa and demand an independent, transparent investigation into his death. I urge the relevant authorities to disclose all information, establish whether any negligence or failure of duty occurred, and take appropriate legal action against anyone found responsible, regardless of their position. Sri Lanka’s wildlife is our national heritage, and protecting it is a responsibility that cannot be ignored. I demand answers, accountability, and justice for Kawanthissa!

Kawantissa didn't die, He was killed by this irresponsible government. Proper medical care was not given and people have requested long time ago to save him. We lost the tallest giant tusker, an amazing creature gifted my mother nature. We want justice for Kawantissa.
