   Comments: Unfortunately it seems the Royal Society of Medicine have either totally ignored the situation regarding DSV 5 or believe in it... I fail to believe they haven't heard it, i am open minded as to whether believe in it. So im open to accept that they are showing their ignorance of the hurt and misery this Doctor has caused trans people over the years. They need to listen to the needs of the very people they are discussing. He is a dangerous man...

   Comments: Transsexuality, or to use medical terminology, Gender Identity Disorder, is no more a mental disorder than homosexuality ever was. And they removed that from the DSM in 1973. Transsexuality should be considered in a similar way to homosexuality.

If she were to follow Kenneth Zucker's protocol she would be suffering. Our story was featured on 20/20 with Barbara Walters please listen to the voices of the children, we are all they have for a bright future.

    Comments: Adolescents are very fragile persons who need every advantage possible to get them through puberty. Adolescents with transgender issues know that they have such issues. Consequently any therapy that attempts to mold the adolescent trangesdered person to mores that are conventional for the person will be damaging and dangerous. We need all the help we can get with our problems. It has now been 65 years since I had such problems and at that point in time there was no choice for me. I was supposed to be what I looked like and NOTHING else was acceptable. I survived obviously but not with out a great amount of pure guts to be something and someone that I really wasn't. I see the Zucker philosophy for adolescents today.

    Comments: Dr. Zucker is not up to date, nor knowlegeable about Gender Identity Disorder in Adolscents. I have a transgender son who knew he was a boy at age 3. Apparently Dr. Zucker does not believe children when they declare their gender identity at such a young age. He's not transgender and doesn't know what's best for our kids. He is dangerous to gender identified youth because he doesn't think they can decide there own gender at a young age. It's not a choice, gender just is. Thank you

    Comments: Kenneth Zucker is openly transphobic, employing harmful and reprehensible "reparative" (i.e. repressive) therapy on gender-variant children in his clinic. In my opinion, the Royal Society of Medicine's conference will only be besmirched by the inclusion of Zucker. The situation is analagous to inviting a phrenologist to a conference on the science of brain disorders, or a white supremacist to a conference on racism. You simply wouldn't do either. So please don't allow this harmful man Zucker to ruin your fine conference with his presence and insidious transphobia: please revoke his inclusion.

Would the Royal Society include someone who believed that bloodletting was an acceptable medical procedure onto a committee Please evaluate Dr. Zucker's misguided "therapy" ideas and determine for yourself if they are based on discredited procedures that were used for other "maladys" in the past. This man has no right to speak on transgender issues.
