The Hayward Zucchini Festival is the largest annual attraction in Hayward. We insist that Mayor Sweeney and the Hayward City Council provide the Zucchini Festival with the support it deserves. For example; last year the Blues Festival received funding of $24,000 ($20.00 per attendee) while the Zucchini Festival received only $1,300 ($0.09 per attendee).
