| 57 | Anonymous | I have not personnaly been adversely affected by the use of Zicam, but do know someone who has. Since this damage appears to be PERMANENT I will not be using the product in the future. There are too many safer alternatives out there.
At the very least the responsible thing to do is make sure a warning is provided with this product, especially in view of the serious nature of the effect on individuals. |

| 65 | David Richardson | I lost these two senses in July 2005 from a one time use of Zicam nasal gel. It is absolutely critical that this product be removed from the market. Thank you for doing what you have with this petition.

| 86 | Beverly Fisher | I had a bottle of Zicam and when Rachel told us of what had happened, I was not going to use it again. If the manufacturing company has already settled countless lawsuits, what is the FDA doing to monitor this dangerous drug. IDoes this phamaceutal giant have immunity from the scrunity of the restrictions and disclaimers other companies have to abide by. Why is it still on the shelf when other medications have been pulled after just a cpmplaint has been filed. Remove this drug and protect those that have not been afflicted with this reaction, and make restitution to those that have been harmed. |

| 88 | Francie Rosen | I think this product should be taken off the market and the CEO should put in his nose so that he can experience this problem. And I think the user of the product should be compensated for damages. |

| 90 | Stacey Schrauger | I lost my sense of taste and smell after using Zicam in Feb 2007. It has not come back and I doubt it will. It has been over 15 months now. |

| 94 | marcia Thompson | Please take this product off the market, it is too dangerous for regular use. My daughter is a victim, and she's lost her smell and taste, and it's horrible.
Everyone should sign this, and boycott this product! |
| 95 | Mary Griffin | This is very dangerous for people to use it. Should be off of the market. |
| 96 | Jack Wagler | I used Zicam spray several days ago and I have lost my sense of smell and taste after getting a burning sensation in my nose/head. I would never have used it if I thought it could have such an effect. I hope my senses of smell and taste return. I can’t believe this product is still on the shelves! |
| 97 | Anonymous | My husband lost his taste and smell 3 years ago from using ZICAM. |
| 98 | Todd Price | this company is STILL hurting people after their 12 million dollar lawsuit! down with this trash company!!!! |
| 99 | Anonymous | When you know as much as I know about the past history of this company and the people who have headed it up over the past decade, you just want to throw up. They took a virgin marketing concept (intranasal zinc) and slipped it through FDA scrutiny because no one (including the FDA) knew what zinc sniffed deeply up the nose was capable of doing.
When you get business people rallying around a product that they claim reduces the intensity and duration of a cold, you have a cash cow, my friends. So when the heat comes down, do whatever it takes to protect the share holder's investment. And Matrixx has orchestrated their propaganda machine brilliantly. To this day, the product is STILL on the shelves and has never been questioned, in my opinion, because who the heck will ever be willing to potentially sacrifice their sense of smell and taste for the sake of a scientific test? Ain't gonna happen. |
| 100 | Anonymous | I used zicam the other night and still can't taste or smell. I have also had intense pain, almost like a chemical burn. |
