| 25 | Franni M Ferrero | As one of the individuals who lost my taste and smell from using the Zicam swabs, I did not qualify for a settlement in the class action suit. The loss was devastating and my medical bills have been in excess of approximately $12,000. I am one of the fortunate few who, through the help of a great doctor, have recovered my taste and smell. But this condition is not understood by doctors, so few of us are getting treatment. Instead, we're told to learn to live with it.
The makers of Zicam claimed the class action suit was filed to drive down their stock prices. At the time this statement was made, I would have happily removed myself from the class action if it meant I could restore my taste and smell.
It's unbelievable to me that this product continues to be sold! |
