Don't be like the cowards at Zebra Auto Sales and hide from someting that you are responsible for. And yes there is more to it. The oklahoma Used Motor Vehicle Commission just informed me as of 9-22-07 that they have 5 costumers who have traded in vehicles to them and Zebra has not paid off any of there trade-ins. And that Zebra is "upside down" and have no money. But yeah, keep buying there.Flag

Name: Amanda on Oct 25, 2007Comments: we traded 3 vehicles for 2 vehicles from zebra and they jumped on the ball by gettin our loan for the 2 vehicles from them but its been over 2 months now and they still havent even made a payment on any of the vehicles that we traded in...and now they have cleared out there offices to go out of business...and now they are suppose to be filing bankruptcy which means if your in the same boat as we are, u better be gettin an attoryney quick....we are now in debt bc of them for over $20,000. if you have any information that may help us please contact us at 918) 261-6462.....thank you so much!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Oct 27, 2007Comments: We "bought" a truck from Claremore Zebra Auto Sales in December, signed a contract, gave them our car as a trade-in, and found out...after a lot of BS two weeks later...that we weren't approved to buy the truck and guess what, they sold our car. They are HORRIBLE people who deserve to be put in jail for taking advantage of so many people.Flag

If you have been financially injured, contact the Used Car Commission. They will be of some assistance and can provide you with several bits of information. However, it would be wise to contact an attorney or possibly file your claim with the Rogers County District Court.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Nov 4, 2007Comments: these guys typlify the crooked used car salesman.Did you know that this is the same bunch that had Hawkes Motor Co in Pryor, OK and ran the same scams there I believe they still have lawsuits pending in Mayes county. Their solution move to Rogers county under a new name! Make sure the name smacks of local school spirit and support, so we'll appear to be the "good ol' boys"that "make customers for life". BS! They set up shop here to rip folks off in a new location!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Nov 4, 2007Comments: After owning a vehicle bought from Zebra Auto Sales only 6 months, I resold it due to cost of repairs almost equaling the value of the vehicle itself- in other words it was a piece of crap. I had purchased a $1500 extended warranty on the vehicle and was supposed to get the majority of it back since i did not use it. After waiting longer than i was told to recieve my money my father went directly to the warranty company who told him they had already sent the $800 check to Zebra. My dad went to the lot to ask about the money where they continued to tell him they had not recieved the money yet. After hearing this my father confessed that he had already talked to the warranty company and knew they had recieved the money. Kelly then tried to tell my dad he needed to leave or he would be escorted out- my dad then told them he wouldnt leave without our money forcing them to pull out their checkbook and write us the check. I am still paying monthly payments towards the loan i took out for this vehichle that i have not had for 9 months because i am still upside down in it due to such a large depreciation in value over a short 6 months.Flag

Name: Brian on Nov 6, 2007Comments: I took a car for a day as a "loaner" and left my vehicle on their lot. When I came back the next day to purchase thier car, I watch as someone drove off the lot in my trade-in,they had just sold it, I had yet to even sign over the title to them. That was in May. Long story short, its November now and they never paid off my trade-in. Im now out over $20,000.00 and my credit which was great, is now ruined. I need legal help but can't afford it. The owners of Hawkes Motot Co have both lost their houses to foreclosure and are in court monthly ion other outstanding debts. Best bet to put them out of business by not buying from them.Flag
