Name: Lora Lode on Mar 25, 2010Comments: This is a strong effort to do two really important things: build environmentally sound architecture and keep housing affordable. I strongly support this type of thoughtful development over the more typical plopped-into-the-neighborhood condo development that you see all over gentrified neighborhoods in chicago. Here is an effort to do something that has a conscience behind it and there's resistance? unbelievable.Flag

Name: Robert Sandusky on Mar 25, 2010Comments: As a long-time resident of west Logan Square (since 1991), I fully support the construction of the Zapata Apartments. This development, including the tenant guidelines, is well-considered and will be a great enhancement to our neighborhood. Our neighbors and elected officials should support the construction of these apartments and support the innovative process and design used during development. There can be no better use of TIF funds than to support the development of high-quality affordable housing in Logan Square.Flag

The people of this neighborhood are what attracted me to live here and the culture here makes this neighborhood a city landmark. Thank you for all that currently do to keep Logan Square great.Flag
