Timothy Zahn's next Star Wars book, Scoundrels, currently has a publishing date of December 26, 2012. With no 9 book series on the EU horizon, Scoundrels appears to be the perfect book to both help bring old book fans back into the fold and to bring in new Expanded Universe readers. Moving the release date forward by one week (in other words, before Chrismas), would likely help the book's sales numbers and be the perfect gift for Star Wars fans who fit into one of the two previous mentioned categories.
