Comments: I do believe we need another welsh teaching school, it is a privalige to have a new welsh school in Gwersyllt. Plas Coch cannot deal with the influx of children, and I believe we should keep the welsh language alive.

Comments: This school is essential and work needs to start asap. We also need the Council to look to the future and be pro-active rather than reactive and start planning a second Welsh medium Secondary school to avoid over-crowding in Morgan Llwyd.

Comments: I can not believe the oppostion this school is causing. As we live in Wales, every parent should have the choice to send their children to a welsh medium school.

Comments: I feel it is important for children to have a good, pleasant learning environment with room amd space. I worked for years in mobile classroomsand know what it is like however hard you try to make it good to learn in.

Comments: We are in Wales yet we struggle to find a place in a school that teaches our own language, yet there is no trouble in fining English or even Polish schools now in the area, using assembly halls and mobile classrooms for teaching space, surely its better to use some space only now used for dog mess as a site for children to get a decent education in their own language!

Comments: Dw i'n cefnogi gynlluniau 100%. Dwi'n byw yn LLay, rhaid i ferch fi mynd i Ysgol Bodhyfryd gan fod ysgol Plas Coch yn orlawn. Fydd ysgol Cymraeg newydd yn Gwersyllt cyfle bendegedig i bawb yn lleoliad. I support these plans 100%. I live in LLay, and my daughter has to travel to Ysgol Bodhyfryd because Ysgol Plas Coch is over subscribed. This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone in the locality.

Comments: I had to learn Welsh as an adult, the hard way, I was raised in Gwersyllt (Heol Hyfryd) and went to Bryn Alyn which failed to teach me Welsh. Welsh medium schooling really is the only way to be bilingual. The surveys all show more than half of parents in Wrecsam want their children to go to Welsh medium schools yet the council fails to provide for this demand quickly enough. You only have one education and hundreds of parents have been deprived or their rights here and in other boroughs.

Comments: I think we need to promote the Welsh Language more, therefore a new Welsh school would be very good to do just that!

Comments: We strongly agree the proposed plan as we need to have, not only a primary facility created but also a secondary school created to fulfil the needs of the Welsh community around our area.

Comments: It would be nice to have a Welsh school in Gwersyllt, as when I was in school many years ago, they didn't teach Welsh in the Gwersyllt schools then, until Ysgol Bryn Alyn was built,in 1958, which was a bit too late for me. I did have one term in Bryn Alyn though, in which I did pretty well in Welsh. But times were hard then, I didn't get the chance to carry it on. So back to nowadays...it would benefit the kids of today to have one.)
