Name: Erin MacMillan on Mar 15, 2007Comments: I was definitely disappointed at being unable to enroll in some of the more popular courses simply because they were only accepting 20 people for the year. High demand courses should offer more sections. So much is wrong with the way things are currently running.Flag

Name: Michelle Lee on Mar 15, 2007Comments: I believe that our tuition fees shouldn't be mandatory to cover the summer semesters given that there is very few courses to choose from and the fact that the ones that are made available all overlap one another (i.e. all at the same scheduled time and date at both york and sheridan campuses)...thus leaving many design students stranded with the lack of selection and most will only be able to take a single 3 credit design practicum in the summer or none at all.Flag

Name: Thomas Boldt on Mar 15, 2007Comments: This is a ridiculous state of affairs. No warning was given, no consultations were made with students, this decision was merely based on unscientific guesswork from previous year attendance records, which we have no access to. I paid for the ability to spread my courses out, as is stated in my York/Sheridan Design Handbook for the 2006-2007 year. Now, on the day in which I was scheduled to enrol in Summer classes, I am informed that my options are suddenly reduced. I smell a breach of contract, and it's not a pretty smell.Flag

Name: Andaleeb on Mar 16, 2007Comments: I definately would like the faculty to consider having more courses offered in the summer. Their course offerings are restricted to fall and winter and that in turn restricts my life. Having more courses offered in the summer can really help me in using my 36 credits in a satisfied way in terms of learning experience and tuition fee payment.Flag
