It has been suggested by many clinical studies that marijuana used redmedially has a high sucess rate for many conditions. To list a few : Anxiety, severe migrane, nausia and vomiting assosciated with cancer treatment, glaucoma and has been effective as a pain relief for a number of conditions and can be used as a substitute for an analgesic quite readily. Compared to the opium derived medications it would be replacing marijuana is considerably safer both in terms of dose control, risk minimalisation and long term health effects. Some of the medications it would replace include amphetamines, opiates, barbiturates and oxycontin. All used to treat the conditions listed above and all carry high risk of long term addiction. Much harder to kick than the friendly green dragon. Not to mention quashing the monopoly firms like pfizer and glaxosmithklein have on the pharmaceutical industry.
