North of the Spit Bridge, there is no crisis accommodation available for young people who find themselves unexpectedly homeless. Because it is an affluent area, people assume there is little to no youth homelessness, but this is not the case. There are options available for those living on the streets in the Northern Beaches, but none that accommodates, or is suitable for young people. This is a petition to raise awareness of, and support the need for at least one refuge offering young people accommodation in times of crisis on the Northern Beaches.
