| 2 | Tabitha Alltop | the DG course is a great course that gets a lot of play.... please don't take it out for a dog course! I"m sure there's land elsewhere that can be used for the dogs.... |

| 5 | Eric Wernet (Euclid, OH) | As a member of the disc golfing community in Northeast Ohio, it would be a personal front to myself and the rest of the community to shorten this wonderful disc golf course. It is a family friendly course with direct ties to the Kent State campus next door. I live near Cleveland but venture down to Warren 3 to 4 times a year to play the course and spend my money in your community. Please consider another option for the dog park you are considering. |

| 7 | mark hay | What about other area's in Trumball County for a dog park ?? |

| 11 | sharon jenkins | My family enjoyes this disc golf course We have played your course many many times .
It would be a shame to remove such a fun disc golf park . I know the local golfers worked very hard to get this park moving. Please put the dog park in another area. |
| 12 | Valarie Jenkins | Please keep the sport of Disc Golf alive in Warren! |

| 16 | Robert Nitzsche | It would be real shame to see a course that has developed into a such a challenging and beautiful place to play disc golf. It seems like every time I am out theresome comes up, asks what we are doing, and instantly wants to play. Disc golf is a great low cost way to allow access to the park to many people, not just dog owners. |
| 17 | Kipper Kendzierski | |
| 18 | Cindy Nathanson | Please preserve this disc golf course! |

| 20 | Jeff Rzepka | What a sad day that would be. There is plenty of room there for everyone !! The Commissioner should be ashamed of himself for such a poor proposal. Are you joking ? Get real !! |
| 21 | John Buck | Seriously....take away a disc golf course & turn it into some silly dog park!? There's plenty of places around that everyone could go to and just let their dog out, but to take away something that everyone enjoys and uses it frequently, including kids and students & not to mention the out of town & out of state players it brings in. |
| 22 | Mr. Dan Kilgore | I don't understand, Why is it always the big guys who don't see the whole picture. They'res plenty of other park space in WARREN. WARREN is a BIG TOWN, the space that the DISC GOLFers have is not by standards that others courses use. By using some of the park space the Disc Golfers use for a dog park is totlally the wrong move. I've seen these local Disc Golfers pretty up their park space over the years as I regularly visit this course every year at least once or sometimes twice for recreational and/or tournament play and I've seen the slow but surely progress that they have done with basically they're on money, now your going to put a fence around a section of space so the dog owners can have their respective dog's poop, makes no sense as don't these owners have their own property as well as other people's properties to use than a park where kids play. I don't understand this project. |
| 23 | Anonymous | Please do not remove any of this course as it is great for me and my family and it brings people in from out of town to play. This also helps the area businesses as the visitors shop and spend their money for food, gas, and other things. I don't see people traveling from other counties or states to use a dog park. I know that a number of times a year tournements are thrown here and it is a boost to the local economy as the people that play these tournements travel from as far as West Virginia. Pennsylvania, and New York. Most communities are looking for ways to promote tourism and you have something in place that does this so PLEASE don't remove it. This course also receives free advertisement through various online Disc Golf Websites such as Ohio Disc Golf Project that help promote the area. Many communities are looking for areas to attempt to start a local Disc Golf course and to also find a way to pay for the course but you have an established course with an established group of people in the local club that care for the course that they play. These poeple are free labor that you are receiving as Disc golf players watch for crime in the area and also pick up trash when they come across it. Don't remove any of this great course as it is great to play and a great place to bring the family and friends. Thank You for reading this and I hope that you will make the right decision.

| 29 | Steve Hill | If there is no disc golf course in Warren then I have no reason to go there and spend money on food, gas, drinks, etc... |
| 30 | Keith Stoneman | PLEASE do not remove any of the disc golf course. It is a great family activity, and there are already too few places to go. |

| 32 | Will Jakubs | Please save the disc golf!! |
| 33 | Michael Mote | It seems frivolous and short-sighted to remove holes from an existing golf course to cater to an unknown. I think that a dog park is a nice idea, and may work, but put it somewhere where an established activity doesn't already exist. I have traveled to Trumbull county dozens of times, strictly for the purpose of playing the disc golf course. PDGA sanctioned events have been held there, and the course is vital to the area disc golf community. |

| 36 | William Griffith, Chairman of the NEO Disc Golf Alliance | Youngs Run is a great asset to Trumbell County. It provides a quality disc golf course for the area. The events there draw people from outside the community that spend money on gas and food just to come and play the course on a fairly regular basis.
I am the chairman of the North East Ohio Disc Golf Alliance. We coordinate disc golf events around the North East Ohio area. Youngs Run has been a part of our PDGA sanctiond events. Last year it hosted the Series Championship event.
Ideally there would be 18 holes there in oder to conduct a PDGA event. In the past the Tournament director has had to set up temporary holes to accomodate those events. Now that there is a permanent 9 hole course at the KSU branch, that helps, but there is a significant disconect equivilant to 2 to 3 fairways between the two courses. The holes that would be eliminated would extend that disconnection and additional fairway.
There would be a major concern as the PDGA continues to enforce stricter course requirements for events that they sanction. If there is an awkward flow, this could eliminate the course from consideration for sanctiond events. That is not a problem now, but wilk be the situation in the very near fututre.
If there are other spaces avaialbe for the dog park, we would hope those could be considered. |

| 38 | Bob Herbert | Please, dogs and disc golf can surely co-exist. |
| 39 | Tim Devore | Keep a great way for kids and adults alike no matter how good or bad at the game they are, a relaxing form of exercise and fun that you take at your own pace. Also, with Ohio having 87+ courses and growing shouldn't that speak for itself? If it's such an unused item at the park then why are so many course being installed?
KEEP THE COURSE AND EXPAND IT TO 18 HOLES!!!!! the dogs can have another location.
BTW, I have driven past a dog park many times throughout the summer and have seen very few people there. How many new dog parks have been created in the past year compared to Disc Golf Courses? Is there really that big of a demand that one be put in to take over a DGC?
My Opinions Thany You.

| 40 | Brian Cray | It would be a shame to lose a course everyone loves, with a respectable 4/5 rating on Ohio Disc Golf Project. Keep Ohio's disc golf courses alive! |
| 41 | CORY SCHICK | YOUNGS RUN IS ONE OF THE BETTER COURSES IN OHIO AND TABBI ALLTOP HAS POURED HER HEART AND SOUL INTO THE COURSE.. LOOKING FORWARD TO PLAYING YEARS OF EXCITING DISC GOLF IN TRUMBALL COUNTY.... TOURING PRO CORY SCHICK |
| 42 | Christian D Berger | please don't remove the park! it's one of the fastest growing sports and can really help your community's ecomomy. |
| 43 | Brian Parsons | What is this world coming to? They need a huge park for dogs. thats what peoples back yards are for... |
| 44 | Jason Gaskill | I dont think taking out the disc golf course for a dog park is a good idea. Im sure land elsewhere can be found for dog park. |

| 46 | Anonymous | Disc golf is awsome |
| 47 | Brandon Jones | Please keep the course intact! |
| 48 | Joshua Fritz | Disc Golf is a great asset to any community, and it would be harmful and a shame if a course was removed to be replaced with a dog park. Statistics have shown many benefits to having a Disc Golf Park in your community. Please reconsider removing this course. Disc golf tends to decrease undesirable activity in under-utilized areas of a park. A single disc golf course can entertain ninety or more people at one time. Disc golf is a sport that everyone can play, regardless of age, ability, or gender. These are just a few examples of the greatness of a course.
Thank you for taking to time to hear my arguments in favor of keeping the course in place.

| 50 | Anonymous | The commissioner needs to consider the impact that the dog park has on all the park users. Have all the options been considered? Can a dog park be installed without disrupting the enjoyment of a successful disc golf community? |
