In scouting a leader aged between 14-18 is refered to as 'YOUNG LEADER'. But the young in the title implys that we are infeariour to the older leaders and thus we are treated as such. We feel that we are as capable as (or even more capable than) the older leaders. By signing this petition you will be helping us stop being called young leaders and start being respected by the society of scouting.

we understand that due to our age (under 18) that we are required to have a different title, but we would like something less discriminating, only used on forms and that grants us almost equal right, rather than what we have now.
