Name: Ralph Schaming on Mar 30, 2010Comments: We were treated wrong by a truck driver who was plowing the snow. We reported it and never heard from his supervisor. This was their job and we pay them to take care of our streets. This man treated us like garbage and threated us. He blocked us and would not move. He pulled out of a side street with a stop sign and we were on the main road coming up the street. We called the city as soon as we got home. We call the police as well. Nothing was ever done.Flag

Name: Tom Payea on Mar 30, 2010Comments: Mayor Ravenstahl and Michael Huss have placed the residents and city employees in danger by your poor management of essential operations. Placing blame or naming a scapegoat does not resolve the issues at hand. The city was ill prepared for the snow emergency and passing blame onto the first responders in unfair and immoral. Replacing these incompetent leaders immediately would be a good step in the right direction.Flag

PARAMEDICS SHOULD OF WALKED TO THAT HOUSE TO SAVE THAT MAN...THOSE PARAMEDICS SHOULD OF THOUGHT IF THAT WAS ONE OF THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS. HOW DISGRATIVE OF THOSE PARAMEDICS.....Flag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 31, 2010Comments: I agree with the above. The snowstorm was not like a tornado that just showed up on our doorstep, we knew it was coming for days. I would have expected the Mayor and Public Safety Director to be available inside city limits to help coordinate things, cause that's part of their job.Flag

Name: Leo Levandowski on Apr 9, 2010Comments: I would like to know where were Mr Huss and Mr Demechei were during the snow storm .Why were they not coordinating city services ?Why wasnt a salt truck dispatched to the call in hazelwood ,there never seems to be any problem getting them to some of the politicians streets .Also If a salt truck could not get there why wasnt a city highllft or some other type of four wheel drive used ? I believe that Blaming the death of the gentleman in Hazlewood on an EmS worker is like blaming the failure of Enron on the guy that filled the paper towel dispenser.I dont believe that one overworked paradmedic was the cause. I believe that the sytem failed Because the people the taxpayers pay to plan had no plan and the only plan they have now is to point the finger at the city employees below them which is what they always do.Flag
