The trial against the Bulgarian nurses sentenced to death in Libya is a speculative political move. The victims are innocent women - a fact that disturbs all sensible people around the world. I have never questioned the innocence of the Bulgarian nurses, neither have I had any doubts about their good will. It comes as a heavy burgeon on our conscience that such terrible things could happen in this world. That's why I have chosen the following words for you, dear Nurses:
"Nurses, don't lose your hope. Because such an act of injustice cannot come out winning. Believe in the positive public opinion. As a mother, I wish that you spend the next Women's Day - March 8 with your families, your children and at home. Keep up your courage!"
