Students Against a Tiered Housing System at York

The Graduate Students'Association at York and other members of the York community are concerned that the effort to create designated housing for law students in Passy Residences could create a tiered housing system where some students are entitled to better housing than other students. This issue is part of a larger problem regarding student housing, and the value that is placed on graduate student education at York University. I, the undersigned, oppose this move toward tiered housing and call on President Shoukri, Dean Monahan and Dean Peers to reverse their decision to create dedicated spaces for Osgoode students.
