We, the undersigned, call upon the City of York Council to do as much as reasonably possible to discourage the sale of foie gras within the city of York, whether in shops or restaurants and; ask the Chief Executive of City of York Council to write to the Minister of State responsible for Animal Welfare asking for the sale of foie gras to be banned in the UK.
