Final supporters
Fans of Ylvis, it is time to unite, to come together and forget the borders and differences of our countries, to come together as Ylvis fans!
We all love and wait with baited breath every new project, and yet there is a project that has tragically been neglected, that is gathering dust and cobwebs forgotten in a corner, never seen by the loving eyes of us, the fans.
On March 2nd 2013 the show ended. More than 120.000 tickets sold all over the country, 212 nights up on stage, thousands of happy fans country wide, some illegal footage leaked online, some teasers through the Jacket Tour, On Gullruten 2011, but one hope kept us all together. A hope for a DVD (or digital download), a DVD we have heard some whispers about.
A DVD with an awesome commentary track that the boys don't believe anyone cares about, a commentary track that makes us laugh, cry and think "WTF am I listening to", a commentary track that makes us subbers go nuts because you won't stop talking at the same time, a commentary track we love and hate, and need.
199kr on platekompaniet, plus shipping, that doesn't stop us from buying at least two copies each, and two more for a friend over seas so we can ship it to them, no matter the cost.
Well it is time to stand up as one and demand, to show that we want it, that we haven't forgotten, we demand it, we need it, we want it so badly, we are waiting, we have been for two years now.
We need Ylvis 4 on DVD (and/or digital download)!!!
And we need to ask, and beg the powers that be to give it to us, we need it on a nice DVD that can be distributed across the world, and maybe in a digital download as well, to get to those countries where mail delivery is like a distant dream!!
So, to support our needs, we have decided to organize an online petition to help to bring this fabled piece of work to all of us.
Let us stand together and work to bring this to reality!! Please sign up and then make sure you show it to any people in your life you think might be willing to help.
Message to the Ylvis people; we seriously love the commentary track! but we don't demand it, just mentioning it. And no need to do English subtitles if that's the problem, we fans have it covered, but it would be a plus though.

Seeing the momentum grow around this request has reminded me how much Ylvis 4 still resonates with so many of us. I am genuinely moved by the commitment people have shown toward securing a proper release for these memories.

Why keep it from us when they could use it to do good? I smell another opportunity to give part of the money from sells to Unicef.
I live in the USA and would very much like to be able to purchase more Ylvis concerts, shows and music on actual hard copy merchandise. I'm a fan who most likely will never get to travel to see them, so this, for me, would be the next best thing.
It's a relief to see others who are as anxious to see it as I am, although I'm not sure how much it costs to actually make this happen, and we do have to keep that in consideration.... That being said, if it's anything like the third one, then it is a "must-see". "Ka kan eg gi deg?" is my absolutely favorite piece to watch.
I know that there is a concern that Ylvis 4 has possibly been built up too much by the fandom, for how much we want it, and that it will end up being a let down. But I am quite certain this won't be the case, and keeping this show from us is borderline cruelty at this point.
As an actor and theatre fan I'd love to see the show of some of my biggest inspirations!
