\"Get legislation passed to mandate disability history and culture as part of the general curriculum in the state of Connecticut by defining the third week of October as “Disability History Week.” We hope to mirror the efforts of youth-led organizations in West Virginia and Florida that have created similar legislation. We believe that every student must learn about our civil rights movement and lifestyle.\"
