Name: Herman Wientjes on Nov 28, 2009Comments: Thanks for the support for Patrik and Scandic. I really think that his work with this horse is super. And yes, that the horse had his tongue over the bit was an accident, but the rider noticed it very quickly and put it back. Sometimes it can happen. It is not always resistance that makes a horse put his tongue over the bit. I like it when my horse is light in contact and leave my noseband loose, and yes, then a horse can put his tongue over the bit easier, but it is still friendlier then try to fasten the noseband that tight, that it is almost IMpossible for the horse to put the tongue over the bit. More then ten years ago I was competing at international shows and nowadays I am doing some grand prix level competitions again. "Thank you Patric for scooling this horse in a friendly way and making it possible for the horse to do such a beautiful grand prix test. I hope that everybody who sees the horse doing this, can enjoy it and at the same time see this horse doings this test without showing any signs of having difficulties with the test. I do hope that in the future it will be possible to respect different trainingsmethods.Flag

Having a ride on a horse with such natural suppleness and numb obedience denies your views about this training. Thank GOD I am not a horse in your sights. Think about it; open your eyes, you should be absolutely disgusted by the 'blue tongue' incident! Keep sticking up for this and you will deny generations the opportunity to see harmonious dressage partnerships and dressage will continue to be a four letter word amongst many!Flag
