Name: Anonymous on Oct 29, 2009Comments: Until every alleged "abusive" training method is addressed, I do not think it is appropriate to single out hyperflexion as abuse. I have not seen or read any tangible evidence that hyperflexion is any more abusive than many of the training methods used in all disciplines. Arm chair quarterbacks, having never trained an upper level horse, and beating their computers with a stick, should not be formulating policy around training and showing at this level.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Oct 30, 2009Comments: I personally think that the FEI should investigate the person/entity who took the video and then edited it and posted it in an inflammatory manner. Showing my horse in an international competition does not sign me up to be videoed and edited by anyone. Imagine the possibilities if any unofficial video is allowed to be taken and distributed.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Oct 30, 2009Comments: You do not love your horse or they would not be treated this way it is like an abusive spouse or parent they abuse but yet claim they love . Very sad . ALso if these are all top riders you would think that THEY if no one else could train a horse better then anyone using tried and true classical , correct and non abusive methods . Truly a disgrace to dressage , the sport the horse . SHAME ON THE FEI AND SHAME ON YOU "TRAINERS"Flag
