The Pact for Rural Development between Candidates for the 2011 Presidential elections in Cameroon and voters is a chart for the development of our rural areas and of agriculture. It puts forward concrete proposals, of which the implementation will not only substantially improve the lives of many Cameroonians but also transform the national economy through rural development in general and agriculture in particular.

By adding our signature to this declaration, we, Cameroonian citizens who are aware that only agriculture that is based on effectiveness and efficiency of family farms, can ensure food security, bring decent earnings to Cameroonian producers, and lift them out of chronic poverty by bringing them to produce high quality food for consumers in our country.
