Stephen Jacques | The traffic in and out of the proposed new location would be impossible. Plus, reconfiguration of roads/access would drastically alter the area. Put the Y elsewhere.

Sarah | We are doing a report at LLS opposing the move. We would absolutely love to meet someone on this website that is opposing. If that is possible we would love it. Thank you
Hannah | My kids love the Y, but they love Mahackeno much more. It is a fantastic place for Them to run around and see the wildlife there. The indoor YMCA is great, but Mahackeno is Mahackeno, and it would'nt be Mahackeno with a Walmart sized building in it.

Cece Saunders | I urge the Town of Westport for both environmental reasons and the health of the downtown community to seek all possible alternatives in order for the Y to remain downtown.

Lisa Mezoff | I also believe it is critical to maintain our downtown community. Kids and families should be able to go to the library, the Y, shop and enjoy being together.

Anonymous | It would be a shame to ruin (yes, ruin) such a beautiful area as Mahackeno, and I would think the Y would know better. They didn't have to spend so much money up front on a Stern designed building and all those consultants. I guess that's why there are so many complaints about how nickel and dimeing the Y is now, not clean, staff unhappy, etc. Money spent on this ego dream.
