Comments: Yar' Adua did not come across to me as 'fit' and 'sound' in the phoney BBC telephone call. We don't wish him dead. We just want him to step aside & allow his VeePee act in the interest of the constitution.

Comments: what NEXT did with your report is to smoke out Yar'adua wherever he his and to put all the conspirators in a tight corner they will be forced to come clean on the man's whereabouts if only to debunk the article. You did the right thing and for that I am grateful.

Comments: The issue is not whether the President come back home or not. What we should be saying is that he must handover to his deputy as the Constitution demands. If he hands over as per the Constitution, he could be away for as long as he likes, there will at least be someone in charge.

Comments: The Presidents physical and mental capacity are not a personal or private matter but a matter of critical legal and political significance to his employers, the Nigerian people. The present evasion and deception is not merely primitive, irresponsible and immoral but is tantamount to an overthrow of the existing legal order by a tiny cabal. That is what the law defines as a coup D'etat!

Comments: I am really saddened with the developments in Nigeria. I really don’t care about the charade concerning Yar-adua’s health. I am more concerned that the rein of power should have been handed over to the vice president. I wish Yar-adua speedy recovery but for the good of Nigeria he shouldn’t be governing us. He is not physically fit to carry on the duties of the president. All Nigerians - from the North to the South, should unite and demand that the right thing be done. For our Children’s sake and for our pride as a people, please let’s put the good of the country above all parochial interests!!

Comments: How low can a country go .....The so called phone or radio interview with BBC is an obvious fraud. where is the proof he's alive...? Did the bbc reporter verify that the person on the other end was Umaru Yar' adua...? Why not a Video or live interview..? It shows how far the cabal would go to hang on to power until they they can get their next stooge into office. For this level of deceit, fraud, forgery and impersonation/identity theft to originate from the highest levels of the Nigerian government simply shows that the is doomed in the hands of its currrent leaders.

Comments: Yaradua (if alive, which I seriously doubt) should immediately resign or hand over to the VP Goodluck Jonathan. Sadly, the gross absence of leadership and cowardice shown by the VP, the Governors Forum, the Federal Ministers and the entire National Assembly at this crucial time makes me wonder if we do not need a complete flushing out of this democraziness. Yaradua resign or handover to the VP immediately. This is the Federal Republic of Nigeria not the Federal Republic of Yaradua!

Comments: If he's alive as being represented by the beneficiaries of the chaos in Nigeria, it's easy to shame those of us who believe he's dead, or at best, barely alive: record a video and have Nigerians see it. After all, no pictures from a hospital bed could be worse than those the world has been subjected to viewing on the web these last several months.

Comments: Mr Yar'Adua is DEAD! Mentally, clinically, spiritually, morally and possibly physically. Turai Yar'Adua is a selfish greedy bastard. A woman who marries off her daugter's as 3rd & 4th wives to semi-literate governors in the 21st century has no moral fibre.
