The petition

I would like all those that believe that Yahoo, needs to address more important issues with their avatars that are so widely used on the yahoo forums.

I have an 8 yr old Autistic son that I adore, along with my girls. I also am surround by parents/friends/teachers that all know of this growing epidemic that is claiming more and more children daily ... to be specific ... 1 child every 20 minutes!!

I have become tired of sending Yahoo "feedback" on their avatars, so have my friends.

This petition is for all of those that believe that Yahoo should wake up to a disorder that is claiming 1 in every 150 children, has a normal life expectancy, and is become more prevasive by the day!

We want the Yahoo Giants to wake up and acknowledge and support Autism Awareness by adding a shirt, ribbon, something!!!!
This is not just about the Avatars either, this is about being aware and promoting awareness for something that if it keeps growing the way it is, by the year 2015 Autism Spectrum Disorder will claim 1 in every 9 children ... this is our future generation!! Early intervention is paramount here!!

Becareful Yahoo giants ... Autism could be coming to a child near you very soon. Maybe by then you will understand the need for such awareness and early intervention!

Wake Up Yahoo!!

The Autism community is calling you ... and you're not listening!

**NOTE** no donation is needed. That is just a confirmation that your sig has been accepted.

Thank you for you for supporting Autism and for WAKING UP YAHOO!

God bless you all.
AutiMama and the rest of the Autism Community!
