Name: Ursula Hunter on Jul 14, 2010Comments: I would like to see a warning label for pet owners on the product. It is very unlikely that Xylitol would be removed from consumer-products, However a warning label of the products danger to pets should be added. respectfully, Ursula Hunter LPN.Flag

Name: Dyan on Jul 15, 2010Comments: My dog got into a pack of my gum and it had xylitol in it...She ate the entire pack and I had to rush her to the vet and of course it had to be on a holiday so that vet bill cost me over $500.00...I had no idea that xylitol could harm my dog. There should be warning signs on gum or please take it out of gum...She is doing alive & well today thank god.Flag

Name: Marjorie Sovec on Jul 16, 2010Comments: Xylitol is a product that should be removed from the market since it has no value to humans but is lethal to small dogs. At the very least products containing Xylitol should include a warning so that people are aware of the dangers to their canine friends.Flag

Name: Ken Foreman on Jul 16, 2010Comments: It cannot be understated how extremely toxic Xylitol is to dogs. Considering that 63% of homes in the US have pets (75 million of which are dogs) most consumers would want - and need - to know this information (Source: American Veterinary Medical Association and Pet Food Institute). Don't wait for a backlash; please be proactive and include a warning on products containing Xylitol.Flag
