We the Foreigners and Refugees residing in the Republic of South Africa, having been subjected to persecution, torture and death, through the ongoing xenophobic attacks [as well as those in 2008] contrary to the International Human Rights and The International Refugee Protection Standards. File this petition to the United Nations, African Union, SADC, ECOWAS and all the Bodies of the World

We declare that, regardless of being documented or not, we are in the Republic of South Africa as a result of difficulties (War, Hunger, Persecution, Economic Difficulties, etc) or otherwise, from our parent countries.

We further Declare that we are a community which co-exists with South Africans, Socially, Economically, Academically, Politically, etc. in a peaceful manner.

We Demand, that the on-going Xenophobic attacks on Foreign Nationals be stopped.

We further Demand the following:

1. That the persons responsible for the incitement of this injustice be put to book.

2. That the government of South Africa Enact laws that protects foreigners from attacks like these now and in the future.

3. That should the Government of South Africa fail to protect and/ or enact such laws; that the Republic of South Africa be subjected to the following Sanctions:

-. Exclusion from the main body governing Africa, the African Union.

-. Exclusion from all other international and regional bodies.

-. Continental and international trade bans.

-. Deportation of all South African Personnel working in African States

-. Closure of Foreign South African Government offices and embassies including companies in African States

-. Discouragement of Migration to South Africa.

-. Cancellation of all major events in South Africa

-. Discouragement of visiting South Africa as a Tourist Zone

It follows that, the community of South Africans is of the opinion that they ought to follow the policy of isolation. As such we feel that these policies will give them exactly exactly that!!

We cannot stand back and watch while people are being killed and slaughtered by barbarians.

Hence forth we submit this petition as a plea for your help to curb this barbaric act of violence. We ask for justice to prevail for our dead, displaced, hurt and tortured comrades.
